Our Story

How did we arrive at the idea for this ranch? We were walking down the street, literally, talking about having horses. We suddenly got the idea, we are sure it came from God, that maybe we should combine Sue’s love for horses with a ministry. We had heard about the Don Imus Ranch for Kids with Cancer and Serious Blood Disorders on his morning radio show. What if we started a horse riding camp similar to his but with a Christian focus? Many discussions and prayers later we made the commitment to follow what we believed was God’s lead. Since then God has continued to bless us with the necessary resources to make this dream a reality. He led us to this house and property which is perfect for the camp with a barn, pastures, riding trails and a lake for fishing. He brought us horses that are perfect for teaching children, and the people to help us get started. He consistently provides us with just what we need, exactly when we need it. We can’t predict where God will lead us in this endeavor but we look forward every day in anticipation as He reveals His plan to us.
