What is The Solid Rock Christian Ranch?
The Solid Rock Christian Ranch is a western horse ranch that provides children (ages 5-18) with serious illnesses or special needs the opportunity to learn to care for and ride horses. Each child will learn to feed, groom, tack, and ride their adopted horse. In addition, they will be expected to perform some ranch chores and participate in recreational activities such as boating, fishing, and swimming.
Where are we?
Solid Rock Ranch is located on 18 acres of property at 841 County Route 11, right across from Beaver Way, in West Monroe, NY. County Route 11 runs off state route 49 approximately 4 miles east of interstate 81. There is an outdoor riding ring, an outdoor round pen, riding trails, and 4-acre lake for water activities. Plans for an indoor riding ring, swimming pool, and a small playground are underway. At this time we cannot provide transportation to or from the ranch.
